Current Charity
KIPP, the Knowledge Is Power Program, is a national network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools with a track record of preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. In 2009, KIPP St. Louis opened its first school, KIPP Inspire Academy (KIA), with the support of Washington University in St. Louis. Today, KIA has grown from a single class of 80 fifth graders to 240 students in grades five through seven. By 2012, KIA’s middle school will be complete with a capacity of 320 students. KIPP St. Louis will open its second school in 2013; the region will eventually comprise five schools.

Our first charity we worked with was World Food Day! If you'd like to partner with us, simply email us at urbancents@gmail.com, and we'd love to talk about how our business can help your cause!
In our minds, the answer is always DEAL, and that’s exactly what we’re going to find for you. Every week Urban Cents will release a new discount redeemable at a great business in St. Louis.
We promise to bring you the best deals imaginable, but then it’s up to you to buy and redeem your discount.
Doing good feels good. Why not make a mark on St. Louis before your four short years at WashU disappear faster than your late night meal points?
